Audrey Taylor LMSW

Audrey has been a member of The Allen A.M.E. Church of Jamaica, New York, under the leadership of the Reverend Drs. Floyd H. and Elaine Flake for the past twenty-five years.

She serves on Executive Board of the Nora F. Taylor Missionary and as President emeritus of the Allen Investment L.L.C.  Audrey is licensed to preach through the A.M.E. church.  She is presently on the ministerial staff of her home church the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral.

Her theatrical experience is twofold: performer and teacher.  She has worked with the Creative arts Team at New York University and led drama workshops throughout Baltimore/Washington and New York Educational Systems.  Presently she is the Founder and Artistic Director of the "Ain't I A Woman" Collective repertory Company.  Audrey is currently touring with her one-woman show "It's In Your Hands," a dramatic presentation that talks about the struggle, pride and faith of a people. People who have survived and will continue to move forward in faith and with assurance of victory by using what's in their hands.

Audrey is A Training Specialist for the Administration for Children Services. She has worked in the field of social work for the past twenty-five years and received her Master of Social Work from Adelphi University.  Audrey totally believes "I can do all things through Christ who stengthens me."
